HE IS HOME!!!

Our little dude finally made it home. It is such a relief. I think the whole neighborhood heard my screams of joy when the NICU called yesterday with his clearance to come home. The boys LOVE him...almost too much. I was especially worried about how Kyler would react but he ADORES him and is so concerned about everything we do and if he makes the slightest peep. Preston gets the giggles when Tys sticks his tounge out or grunts...he thinks he is so silly.
Labor was ridiculously easy, recovery not so much. So grateful to have my mom here waiting on us every second.
We also have big news about where we live...it has something to do with signing lots of papers, paying lots of money and having almost 1500 more square feet in living space. We are excited...more news to come.
We are so blessed!

Tyson Daniel McDavitt is here!

Tyson was born 10/14/09 at 12:10pm. He weighed 8.5 lbs and was 19.5 inches long. We are so excited that he is finally joining our family. The boys love him...and want to hold/touch him alot. We have limited time with him since he is in the NICU for jaundice. Kyler did he same thing...so we are used to this i guess. It always stinks leaving the hospital without your new baby though! Meag and I were just down there (Meag came home this morning)to feed him and get some good bonding time in. We were griping to each other about how much it stinks that we are so inconvienced like this. Why can't we just take him home now?!! He needs to be with his family! Well...just then we heard the nurse behind us tell the other nurse that the baby girl in bed #1 had been there for 6 weeks. We looked at each other and realized just how much we have to be grateful for. We are so thankful for this new comer to our family. We can't wait to bring him home.We are so blessed.

How it's done in the country...

This vacay has been awesome...so much to tell, but I wanted to post while I'm still here so I could use my dad's photo's. Demolition Derby, Rodeo and especially HOG WRESTLING has been a few of the highlights. Adam, my little brothers Aaron and Keiter, and their friend Derek got a 160 lb. hog into the barrel in 15 seconds!!! They placed 5th out of 30 and we were so proud!! The goal is to get the pig into the barrel butt first as fast as possible but doing so in a pit full of slimy thick mud. It was beyond cool. I'll try and post a video and more pics later...

Day 3 of Vay-cay!

Last day was super fun. We went bowling, shopping and out to dinner. Happy BIR-DAY to me!

They were trying really hard to keep their eyes open...

Thought I had a better pic than this one...this was after bowling at the BIG RED BARN!
Preston insisted on using Grandpa's ball. He could barely hold it--but loved the color. He asks everyday to go play the "bowling game."

Kyler certainly had the cheering thing down. We would whoop at the top of his lungs after every one of his turns.

And yes, he is still sucking his thumb after touching the bowling ball...awesome.
After a few gutter balls at the beginning, the touch came back...
Notice Preston's eyes are closed in almost every picture--he thinks that what you are supposed to do.

Had a hard time waiting for his turn...

Got special treatment on my bday--a little sleeping in, no poopy diapers and I got to decide whatever we did that day.

Big Bear-Day 2

Sunday was very relaxing. We went to church in the little Big Bear ward, where our kids were the only ones making ANY noise. We ate yummy food and went down to the lake for a walk and let the boys throw rocks as much as they wanted. Lake was beautiful, but VERY VERY STINKY! There were dead fish everywhere, so that may have had something to do with it. The water looked pretty gross too--maybe they have had some kind of contamination? There were plenty of people playing in it though. The boys also loved playing with Grandma and Grandpa around the resort. Doesn't take much to entertain them--running into Grandma on the slide brought plenty of laughs. Oh and I think there are some belly pics in this bunch so no more whining!:)
